Impact of Organizational Culture on Project Success by Mr. Emile Kanaan

The PMI Lebanon Chapter is glad to announce that Mr. Emile Kanaan is the speaker for the month of October 2018 and he will be talking about the “Impact of Organizational Culture on Project Success” and also sharing his hands on vast experience and insight of working in multi-cultural environments and projects.  The session will be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at 6:30 PM in The Key ApartHotel Palais de Justice District, Corniche du Fleuve, Beirut, Lebanon.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session the attendees will understand the importance of cultural considerations that can have a strong impact on the success or failure of a project through the real life stories and lesson learned throughout this journey.

Lecturer’s Biography:

 Mr. Emile Kanaan is a Lebanese Australian citizen who left Lebanon during the civil war and lived in Australia for over 30 years. He is currently the Director for Executive Master of Business Administration program at Balamand.
He holds a Master Degree in Commerce from University of Sydney and a Diploma in Workplace Management with several certificates in Food Operations and supervision. Emile went to university at the age of 32 and graduated at 40.
He completed a Research for DBA at Notre Dame in Sydney on “What factors contribute to successful Lebanese, Indian and Chinese leaders in the west?”
Emile worked over 24 years in Senior Management roles in companies, such as Siemens,Uniliver,Dairy Farmers and Fonterra plus lecturing at business colleges. He is also a freelance writer in Arabic for Ethnic Newspapers in Australia .He worked in China, New Zealand, Australia and KSA.
His expertise include Change Management in complex environment. He is also a Business Consultant for small and large business in Lebanon. He has been in Lebanon four years.
